Diesel is naturally sensitive to cold. When the temperature falls, paraffin crystals form and can clog the Diesel filter.

This phenomenon can make it difficult, or even impossible, to start a vehicle.

Our standard Diesel has characteristics allowing it to resist the cold. It is available in all AS 24 service stations in Europe.

In winter, in some regions particularly affected by cold, AS 24 makes Extreme Temperature Diesel available in its stations. This is a winter Diesel with enhanced properties due to the addition of specific additives.

Expert’s opinion: It is better to use Extreme Temperature Diesel rather than commercial additives.

To be effective, additives must be incorporated at positive temperatures. Additionally, it should be noted that these additives can aggregate when present in excess, and make the fuel less resistant to cold.
