AS 24, A EUROPEAN DISTRIBUTION NETWORK FOR LNG, THE BENCHMARK FUEL FOR LONG-DISTANCE TRANSPORT
AS 24 offers LNG stations located mainly on the main European corridors.
Due to its characteristics, LNG is emerging as the fuel of choice for long-distance transport.
AS 24 plans to offer a European corridor to facilitate long-distance transport. Our LNG stations are strategically located to ensure quick and easy access to this alternative fuel.
AS 24 has an expanding network of LNG stations covering the main transport routes in Europe, to ensure the continuity of your business. 100 LNG stations are planned in Europe by 2026, through the acceptance of AS 24 cards by our partners.
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is a natural gas that has been made liquid by cooling to -162°C. This process reduces its volume 600-fold, making it easier to transport and store.
LNG is mainly methane and is an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional fuels due to its low emissions of CO₂, fine particles and NOx. It is ideal for HGVs covering long distances.
ADVANTAGES OF LNG
With its high energy density, LNG enables vehicles to cover longer distances without the need for frequent refuelling.
LNG generates up to 25% less CO₂ than diesel, as well as virtually zero emissions of sulphur and fine particles.
LNG offers cleaner, more efficient combustion, contributing to better engine performance.
LNG is non-flammable in its liquid state, which reduces the risk of fire in the event of a leak.
LNG IN PRACTICE
Filling up with LNG requires a number of precautions and precise operating procedures.
