EUROPEAN TOLL RATES CHANGES IN 2026

At the beginning of 2026, some European countries are changing their tariffs and expanding their taxable network.

• New tolls rate: HERE
• Average increase of 10%.

• WALLONIA rates indexed based on the consumer price index. Average rate increase of 1,91%.

Exceptions : 

• Salerno–Pompei–Napoli: Increasing of 1,925%
• Brennero highway: Increasing of 1,46%
• Concessioni del Tirreno (Tronco A10 e A12), Ivrea-Torino-Piacenza (Tronco A5 e A21) e Strada dei Parchi A24-A25 (Autostrada Roma-L’Aquila e diramazione per Pescara): No increasing

• Average increase of 5,14%

Portugal

Average increase of 2.3% 

Tolls on several Portuguese motorways will undergo additional changes in 2026: 

• A25 will become fully exempt from tolls in 2026.
• A41, A19 and A8: exemptions will apply specifically to heavy duty transport.
• Another significant change is the approved exemption for heavy vehicles on the A41 (Porto Outer Regional Ring Road) and on sections of the A19 and A8 in the Leiria region.

• Cofiroute: +1.21 to +1.41% (central-western France)
• SAPN: +1 to +1.25% (Île-de-France → Normandy)
• APRR/AREA: +0.94 to 0.95% (Paris–Rhine–Rhône & Rhône-Alpes)
• ASF & Escota: +0.62% (South)
• ATMB & SFTRF (Mont Blanc/Fréjus tunnels): +0.62%
• Sanef (North-east): +0.70%.
