Anticipate the new Heavy Goods Vehicle Charge (HGVC) in the Netherlands with the PASSango toll badge

| The HGVC is a new road charge applying to goods vehicles over 3.5 tonnes travelling on Dutch territory, whether registered in the Netherlands or abroad.
It will come into effect on 1 July 2026, replacing the Eurovignette in the country. |
The aim of the HGVC is to make heavy goods vehicles contribute to the maintenance of road infrastructure and to encourage the use of cleaner vehicles.
In the Netherlands, tax collection will be managed by the official Dutch authority (RDW). Vehicles will need to be equipped with a toll badge compatible with the satellite system accredited by RDW.
The AS 24 PASSango toll badge enables hauliers to automatically manage this charge in full compliance, not only in the Netherlands but also across 14 other European countries.
For over 35 years, AS 24, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, has been supporting transport professionals by providing multi-energy, toll, washing and parking solutions to make their day-to-day operations easier.
A dedicated team ensures that AS 24 toll badges are accredited and compliant with European legislation.

The AS 24 PASSango toll badge can be installed in your vehicle before the system officially launches on 1 July 2026.
Installing it now allows you to get familiar with your PASSango device and ensure your fleet is fully compliant ahead of time. Please note that no charges will be applied (technically or legally) before the official start date in the Netherlands.
