AS 24’S TOLLING OFFER IN SWITZERLAND
The HGV traffic levy (HVF) is a Swiss federal tax. Its amount varies according to several criteria: the TOTAL weight of the vehicle, the emission level of air pollutants and the number of kilometres travelled in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. It is intended for all vehicles and trailers over 3.5 tonnes registered in Switzerland and abroad and using the Swiss public road network.
Do you travel regularly to Switzerland?
You need to fit your vehicle with a PASSango OBU (on-board unit), which is interoperable in many countries, including Switzerland and Liechtenstein. As the Swiss network is satellite-based, your journeys will be automatically recorded by your OBU PASSango and billed directly to you.
Do you travel to Switzerland occasionally?
The tax is collected via an online travel declaration system on the official website of the Federal Office of Border Security. Your AS 24 cards allow you to book travel online and therefore be in compliance before entering the country.
